Headteacher's Letter
Welcome to West and East Putford Nursery and Primary School.
Here our highly qualified, dedicated team strive to enrich the learning of each and every child. We feel first hand experiences are essential for children to be able to learn and provide many extra curricular activities. We are continuing to broaden and enrich the school curriculum. Themed weeks have been a great success in the past, and have included pirates, north american indians and carnival week. As a small school we also work collaboratively with three other local schools and pupils join for activities that are planned throughout the year.
The school believes in celebrating pupil’s work in an environment that is stimulating, bright, creative and friendly.
We have an active governing body and committed parents. The school council meets regularly and communicates its views on a variety of school issues.
The school appreciates the work the Friends Association dedicates to fundraising for the benefits of the children. Popular events include Halloween & Easter Bingo and Cider & Pasty Walks.
